Osteopathic Manipulation

As a fully licensed physician with prescriptive authority, Dr. Ciammaichella is able to provide healing through osteopathic manipulation treatment in addition to traditional Western medicine to optimize the self-healing mechanisms of the body.

Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (OMT) is a manual, hands-on treatment that aims to optimize the self-healing mechanisms of the body. OMT is most notable as part of the multi-modal approach to pain management. However, OMT can also assist in various other illnesses such as constipation and lymphedema.

Life undoubtedly gives us lemons but what you do with the lemons is what builds a healthy you. As an expert in osteopathy and neurorehabilitation, Dr. Ciammaichella will guide you through your journey of recovery to optimize your quality of life.

Musculoskeletal disorders

For instance, knee or shoulder pain may prevent individuals from working, exercising, or participating in other activities they enjoy. Dr. Ciammaichella will conduct a comprehensive musculoskeletal examination to identify the underlying cause of pain and develop a personalized treatment plan. This may include medications, physical and occupational therapies, topical ointments, osteopathic manipulation, or joint injections to alleviate pain and improve function.
